New Artist at Elphick’s

I was introduced to the work of Madamesange through Cathy at the wonderful Anorak magazine. The first delivery is arriving this weekend and here is a sneak preview of ‘Love Cats’ and ‘Musical Bouquet’, rather beautiful I’m sure you’ll agree! Both measure 30cm x 40cm and are £55 each.

One Bird, Two Birds

Although these prints have been available at Elphick’s for a few weeks now, I’ve only just got around to posting them on the blog. Time just seems to be whizzing by, I can’t believe it’s February already. ‘One Bird’ and ‘Two Birds’ (I love those titles Kate), are in very small editions so if you love them as much as I do, you’d better buy one quick before they sell out! It’s amazing how Kate has managed to make these prints look so simple when such a huge amount of time and effort has gone into making them. ‘One Bird’ is a 10 colour screen print, with ‘Two Birds’ being a staggering 13 colour print. Love Love Love Kate Gibb

Elphick’s is very pleased to announce the arrival of these fantastic limited edition screen prints by Kate Gibb. Commercially she is probably best known for the sleeve artwork she created for The ‘Chemical Brothers’ but her career has also seen her collaborating with ‘The Magic Numbers’, ‘Simian’, ‘Sonny J’ and fashion brands ‘Dries Van Noten’, ‘Levis’ and ‘Adidas’ to name but a few.

Her love of colour, pattern and the happy accidents that occur in the printing process are what makes her work so inspirational and individual. 

Having admired her work for some time it’s great to have her on board. These prints are a ‘must see’ and are already going down a storm here at Elphick’s.

‘Love’ is available in these two colour ways, in very limited quantities, at an extremely affordable £130 unframed, £200 framed. Print measures 50cm x 70cm.
