I found some stunning 1920’s/30’s block printed French Wallpaper samples at an antique market recently. The colours are exquisite and they have inspired me to do some new work. I have started to cut them up to create my own still life flower arrangements. Here is the first of many.

I have a piece – 1920’s green shallow vase with silver overlay and etched flowers and leaves. I’ve been contemplating how to put and what to put for an arrangement. Do you have any idea how they did flower arranging in the 1920’s? Thank you and enjoy my blog. Carlisle
