David Weidman

July 16, 2009

The David Weidman screen prints have arrived and they are so beautiful, the print quality is stunning, no image could do them justice, these have to be seen in the flesh. Considering these were printed over 40 years ago they are in mint condition. Prices start at a very affordable £47 for an unsigned Serigraph, with signed and editioned prints starting at £137. This print is one of my favourites titled ‘Flowers’ measuring 51cm x 66cm it costs £158 unframed.

July 4, 2009

I went to see the Jeff Koons exhibition on Wednesday night at the Serpentine, it was great to get out of East London and stroll through Kensington Gardens. Once inside in the gallery it was strictly NO PHOTO’S which inevitably brought out the naughty side in me, here are some of the ones I managed to get away with….

David Hockney- A Bigger Picture

July 1, 2009

I watched the documentary ‘David Hockney – A Bigger Picture’, part of the Imagine Series on BBC 1 last night and I am feeling totally inspired today as a result. It was so lovely to see the Yorkshire landscape and see the man at work, made me feel a little homesick. This programme is a ‘must see’ so if you missed it click here to watch it on iplayer. You can also download some free phone art, this is one of the images he created using the ‘Brushes’ app on his iphone.
