One of the nicest parts about having a shop is that you get to meet some lovely people who make beautiful things. I’m afraid I’m a bit of a ludite when it comes to fashion, so I wasn’t aware of Katie Hillier’s work but I’m so glad I know about it now. She’s designed for the likes of Marc Jacobs and Luella so I’m sure plenty of you are familiar with her fantastic work.  You can find out about her own collection here

But I’ve been busy with lots of other things including a new piece of work which you can see developing below. I’ve spent hours, well weeks cutting out butterflies to make a butterfly out of wings. It’s starting to take shape but there is still quite a way to go…
