Bouquet

August 13, 2008

Earlier on in the blog I posted one of my new works under the heading ‘Fleur’. A collage created from some French Deco Wallpapers. I have spent hours cutting out the flowers to create my own floral arrangements inspired by the florist Contance Spry.
Here is the latest in the series which will get it’s first showing at my latest exhibition at the Wallner Gallery, Lakeside Arts Centre, Nottingham.
It’s been reproduced as a limited edition Giclee Fine Art Print in an edition of 20.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 16th August to Sunday 21st September.

Deco Wallpaper

May 29, 2008

I found these amazing Art Deco French wallpaper samples at an antique market recently. I am cutting them up to produce still life flower arrangements. You can see one that I have already completed further on in the blog under the heading ‘Fleur’. I will be releasing them as limited edition prints. I will post the new ones just as soon as they are finished.

Fleur

May 22, 2008

I found some stunning 1920’s/30’s block printed French Wallpaper samples at an antique market recently. The colours are exquisite and they have inspired me to do some new work. I have started to cut them up to create my own still life flower arrangements. Here is the first of many.
