May 9, 2012James Brown ‘The Wick’ £50. Available here.
In his own words…
“Hackney Wick was referred to in a 1976 episode of Dr Who as “A mudpatch in the middle of nowhere.” Thirty six years later and the whole world is coming to town!
Well, they will be next-door at least, and like a snooty neighbour they seem to want to shield us from view.
Without contravening any Olympic regulations by putting the word ‘LONDON’ next to ‘2012’ I have created a print which celebrates the ‘unsightly industrial area’ that has more going for it than any tourist or sports fan will ever get to know about”.

We are Stardust
November 9, 2010James Brown turns out to be a fan of Crosby, Stills and Nash which is why he was inspired to illustrate these delightful lyrics. ‘Woodstock’ was originally penned by the magnificent Joni Mitchell whom I’m a fan of. I’m also a fan of this print which is now available in this new colourway here. I got a little distracted whilst thinking of Woodstock and found myself trawling through Google Images, this is one of my favourites.

Eastway
October 1, 2009The ever popular James Brown has a new print in stock and I really rather like it. Inspired by a Czech matchbox from 1963 it’s a homage to the now demolished Eastway Cycle Circuit in East London. This is a huge hit with the fellas so for all you ladies looking for the ideal gift, this one is a winner! Reasonable at £58 too. Available in store and on the online shop by clicking here.
