I will be showing this collage at the East London Design Show, starting this Thursday. It’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to show my own work, for the past seven years my attention had been focused on the retail space on Columbia Road. However, after a couple of months at the new studio I am getting into my creative flow and enjoying the results. I’m loving the simplicity of the geometry and the subtle colours and tones that I find in the vintage magazines.

Beautiful (newish) screen print by Lisa Jones, she’s just released another print in time for Valentines and as you can probably gather I’m finding it hard to keep up. This print just makes me want to jump right into the picture, I’m sure you would have an idyllic existence in this blue and white residence. Buy online at www.elphicksshop.com
Rob Clarke has just dropped off some new paintings and I particularly love these dog pictures on this rather gorgeous pink background. Painted with acrylic on canvas measuring 8″ x 10″ and coated with Yacht varnish, super glossy. Available to buy at www.elphicksshop.com
Although these prints have been available at Elphick’s for a few weeks now, I’ve only just got around to posting them on the blog. Time just seems to be whizzing by, I can’t believe it’s February already. ‘One Bird’ and ‘Two Birds’ (I love those titles Kate), are in very small editions so if you love them as much as I do, you’d better buy one quick before they sell out! It’s amazing how Kate has managed to make these prints look so simple when such a huge amount of time and effort has gone into making them. ‘One Bird’ is a 10 colour screen print, with ‘Two Birds’ being a staggering 13 colour print. Available to buy online at www.elphicksshop.com
Bringing a bit of colour and joy into this very grey January is a rather vivid print by the brilliant Supermundane. After many emails back and forth he finally delivered this EXCLUSIVE to Elphick’s. Super happy to have Rob’s work on board, and as with most of the prints you can buy from the comfort of your home by visiting www.elphicksshop.com
